To the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library
​We are a non-profit, charitable organization that raises funds for the direct benefit of Library Programming and Services including:

Children’s programs: The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program; Lego Hour; Baby, Family and Bilingual Preschool Story Times; A Child, A Dog and A Good Book; Farmers’ Market Story Time.

Teen Programs: Library Teen Leadership Council; Drop-in Reading, Art, and Writing (RAWR); Gaming, Anime and Manga Interest Groups and weekly Crafternoons.

Family Programs: Free family movies; Story Times and Special Events (see monthly calendar)

Adult Programs: The Yokayo Seed Project provides educational seminars and a growing collection of local heirloom seeds; knitting groups; monthly book club; guest speakers; art exhibits; tech help

Book Mobile Outreach to remote areas of the county; nursing homes and the county jail
