About UVFOL
The Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization that raises funds, builds community support, and encourages charitable gifts to strengthen library services and facilities for the Ukiah Branch of the Mendocino County Library.
UVFOL members, donors, volunteers, and book-sale supporters help make possible a wide range of activities, such as:Â

Library facility improvements and book purchasesÂ

Children, tween, teen, and adult programming (including Summer Reading activities)

Seed library support, maker-space supplies, and other special equipmentÂ

Special projects and emerging needs identified by library staffÂ

Art and cultural events (including author talks and First Friday events)

Our support helps the Ukiah Branch Library offer more programs, materials, and community experiences than public funding alone can provide.

Each branch of the Mendocino County Library is supported by a Friends of the Library chapter.Â
​The Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library serves the Ukiah branch, which is also the hub for the entire library system. Even if you don't live in Ukiah, please consider becoming a member of the UVFOL to support the entire Mendocino County Library system, including the traveling Bookmobile.
